We now ask all foreign nationals who requested support in obtaining VISA to obtain their own confernece business visa through e-VISA. For deatils please refer to 2. Information on Visa Application
1. ICES20 Registration
Please register through following link. You can also modify your registration using registration id (or your email) and the password you create. Your invitation letter becomes immediately available for download after registration.

2. Information on Visa Application (for foreign nationals who ALREADY registered through ICES20 with passport information) [***UPDATE 14-SEP***]
We have informed you on 13 September that we have processed your application as "Business Visa on Arrival," but against our expectation, our request for business visa on arrival was UNSUCESSFUL due to the lack of personnel at Ethiopian Immigration to process business visa on arrival.
Therefore, we kindly request each of you to process your application through e-VISA, using the documents which we have already provided you with.
To apply for e-VISA, please go to the e-VISA website. You need to attach two documents from MU (1) Copy of Application letter from MU to Immigration, and (2) Invitation letter. (2) Invitation letter has already been issued to you when you have registered. It can also be re-downloaded from Modify Registration. We have just sent the (1) Copy of Application letter from MU to Immigration to the people who submitted neessary douments to u by email, but it can also be downloaded from "Modify Registration".
For your reference: following are the EXAMPLE inputs of the first two pages of the e-VISA application. (Please change the information such as Citizenship (page 1), Arrival Date (page 2), Duration of Stay (page 2), City of Departure ("Departing From") (page 2), and the Hotel information (page 2) according to your situation.)

Please note that we will not be able to provide support to the participants who didn't already register with us with passport copies. We kindly ask those participnats to obtain their visa in some other method.
3. Registration Fee
Early payment discount of registration fee is now closed. Please pay the registration fee in Ethiopian birr when you come to Mekelle. IF you have already paid the registration fee, please put the relevant information, such as transaction number in "Payment Reference Information" column in your registraiton, so that we can surely link the payment data with you.
